The Internet news source WND has an interesting article on the travels of Barack Obama and family. There are many questions left unanswered regarding the cost to taxpayers for Obama vacations, official travel, and pseudo-official excursions.

 Here’s an excerpt from the WND piece that shows you just how difficult it is to get such information out of the Obama Administration.

John Kerry made an impassioned speech about transgender deaths. Liberals like Kerry pick some weird subjects to cry about! Kerry has his opinion, but let's get some facts about his subject and other deaths.

The "official" Transgender Day of Remembrance website claims that between 1970 and 2012, 717 transgender individuals were murdered around the world. That's an average of 17 murders per year. Sound bad?

Well, in 2012 according to the FBI 144 infants (under 1 year of age) were victims of homicide in the United States. Sounds worse to me!

And then, there are legal abortions in the U.S. alone. According to the American Life League (Abortion statistics.) it is worse than the first two statistics I've noted. Let's see what the stats tell us about abortions.

Total number of abortions in the U.S. 1973-2011: 54.5 million+

• 234 abortions per 1,000 live births (according to the Centers for Disease Control)
• Abortions per year: 1.2 million
• Abortions per day: 3,288
• Abortions per hour: 137
• 9 abortions every 4 minutes
• 1 abortion every 26 seconds

Did Kerry stop and make a big deal about this? NO...he cried about a transgender minority! Where do Liberals put their priorities? Where they can find voters (another subject).

New York folks were treated to a Jerry Lewis style telethon to raise money for baby killers in Texas. As a Texan, I can say "Keep your dough, New York. The majority of Texans vote for Life. We don't want Yankee money killing our unborn!"

A new report released by the Families USA organization alleged: “Less than 1 percent of nation’s non-elderly are at risk of losing their current Individual market plan and paying more for insurance under the ACA.” However, according to Dr. David Hogberg, health care policy analyst for the National Center for Public Policy Research this statement is misleading.

Keep in mind that Families USA recently received a $1 million grant to promote ObamaCare from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This tells me that the group was paid to say good things about ObamaCare!

It’s hard to believe any group that the Obama Administration literally paid to promote ObamaCare. Did Families USA make a valid appraisal? Read the article and decide…

Enroll America is a private nonprofit organization created to encourage Americans to sign up for ObamaCare. It is suppose to be a non-partisan organization. However, recently investigators accused it of scheming to release private data for political purposes.

The conservative activist James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas, released a video showing that heads of Enroll America in Texas suggested that the nonprofit could release consumer information to Obama supporters. One individual said that he could talk to superiors who might be open to sharing certain end user data harvested under ObamaCare.

Just in time for the 2012 elections, the employment figures showed hope. And now we know it was a false hope! The Obama Administration working from within the Census Bureau, keepers of the employment numbers, manipulated the unemployment rates in favor of the incumbent Barack Obama.

New EPA Rules Will Have 'No Effect' on Climate Change

Would it be a good idea to shut down America's coal-fired energy industry to reduce global carbon dioxide emissions by a mere 0.01 percent? The Environmental Protection Agency and the Obama administration apparently think so.

The EPA recently proposed new limits on carbon-dioxide emissions from coal-fired power plants that would prevent new construction and gradually close older plants.

The EPA maintains the rules will help protect Americans from the ill effects of man-made climate change.

But many scientists challenge the EPA's assertion that carbon dioxide emissions are related to climate change, noted Paul Driessen, senior policy adviser for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow and author of "Eco-Imperialism: Green Power, Black Death."

Those scientists cite solar, oceanic, and other factors the EPA ignores as potential causes of climate change, and point out that human beings account for just 4 percent of the carbon dioxide that enters the atmosphere each year.

And American coal-fired power generation is responsible for just 3 percent of humanity's carbon dioxide emissions.

"In other words, the power plants the EPA wants to shut down account for a trivial 0.01 percent of the carbon dioxide added to Earth's atmosphere annually," Driessen writes in an article for The Washington Times.

He also says that "China, India, Russia, and Brazil alone emit twice as much carbon dioxide as the United States. Therefore, even if the theory that carbon dioxide controls Earth's climate is correct, the new regulations will have no effect on climate change."

They will have an effect on the economy, however. Complying with rules set by the EPA and other federal entities is estimated to cost U.S. businesses $1.8 trillion a year.

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) said that it will close eight coal-fired power plants. The TVA is one of our country’s biggest producers of coal generated electricity.

Keep in mind that the Tennessee Valley Authority is a federally owned corporation. The federal government does have some kind of say regarding this organization's policies and procedures. So is it beyond belief that the TVA plays a role in the Obama EPA energy war against coal and coal production? How many jobs will the TVA decision cost? And, who are the winners and losers in this politically motivated coal power plant closures?

I remember all those Left leaning scumbags calling returning Vietnam veterans "baby killers" and spitting at them. I remember students chanting for an end to a war started by politicians like Lyndon B. Johnson and then blaming that war on returning veterans.

Today, the federal government and the American society in general give a hand out to returning Med-East veterans. Thank God that at least a center-right society wants to give these guys a better welcome than the Nam vets.

These Mid-East vets have their problems. The military does put a burden on these men and women just like in Vietnam. The enemy is the chosen target. It's kill or be killed. But, when they come home, not everyone treats them with kindness and some understanding.

Barack Obama will use executive action on climate change through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA is writing new standards and Obama wants to make sure his environmental legacy gets first billing through executive orders.

Never mind that a lot of the global warming scam has been exposed. Forget about climate change reports that were tainted by radical environmentalists. Who cares if Barack Obama owes a lot to his radical environmental supporters. IRS Sends Refunds to Bogus Filers

The IRS targeted Tea Party groups and Conservatives. How much work did it take the IRS to go after these groups?

The IRS spent vast amounts of taxpayer money training their staffs. Remember the Gilligan and Star Trek training sessions? And, how about the Cupid Shuffle? I guess IRS staff members learned quite a lot!

So, how much work did it take the IRS to send refunds to people in the countries of Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Ireland? And, how about the refunds to bogus filers in Shanghai? Yes, these refunds were based on identity theft, but wouldn't someone at the IRS question why 655 tax refunds went to a single address in Lithuania, while another 343 refunds went to one address in Shanghai? Thanks to the IRS training, we get poorer everyday.

Living in Poverty...A New America

I can't really complain about our family life-style. We are doing OK...even for a retired couple! Yes, we have medical bills. Yes, we keep a strict budget. Yes, we give within our family. But, we still have money a make a donation here and there to St. Jude's and to the Shiners Hospitals for Children (a way of thanking God for our four healthy adult kids). I worry about money, but not incessantly.

Unfortunately many in America cannot say the same. Many folks live from paycheck to paycheck or Social Security check. In fact, according to the latest statistics, 49.7 million Americans live below the federal poverty line.

This is Barack Obama's America! I say this because, in my opinion, all indicators point to his financial mismanagement of this country as a cause for growing poverty. His entitlement mindset is not the way to a prosperous future in America.

Obama: Moving America to Socialized Medicine

With all the problems the Obama Administration has had because of ObamaCare, is there a real hidden reason for the debacle? Is Obama's real plan is to move America into socialized medicine? Are we going to become Canada South?

It's funny how Canadians come to the U.S. for health care because of the problems that their socialized medical complex suffers from. Some Canadians say it's easy to get an appointment for their pets to see a veterinarian than for humans to see a doctor. Is that the way of the future for Americans?

If Obama had it his way the answer is "Yes." He'd push this under the "single payer" system. The single payer would be the federal government. Insurance companies would go out of business while the government became the big insurer...and dole out medicine as it sees fit. Can you say Communism?

Federal Gov't Paid for Illegal Alien Perscription Drugs

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) spent almost $29 million to cover Medicare Part D prescription drugs for 4,139 individuals “unlawfully present” in our country. According to an audit by Daniel Levinson, inspector general of the Department of Health & Human Services, illegal aliens are ineligible to receive federal health care benefits.

People like Barack Obama think that $29 million is a drop in the bucket. But, that drop is our taxpayer money he spent!

The Federal Communications Commission just released a report that many citizens who have received free phones, also known as Obama phones, have either misused or defrauded the program. This report reflects the fraud behind this Obama program.

 

 

During Barack Obama’s presidency, the program has expanded from $819 million to $2.2 billion annually. The FCC estimates that more than two million recipients may have improperly received a phone under the Lifeline (free cell phone) program. We must stop this entitlement swindle. Taxpayers must stop paying for this fraud-plagued program!

The Obama Boys refuse to release ObamaCare enrollment numbers until mid-November. At least six folks enrolled the first day!
