The IRS targeted Tea Party groups and Conservatives. How much work did it take the IRS to go after these groups?
The IRS spent vast amounts of taxpayer money training their staffs. Remember the Gilligan and Star Trek training sessions? And, how about the Cupid Shuffle? I guess IRS staff members learned quite a lot!
So, how much work did it take the IRS to send refunds to people in the countries of Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Ireland? And, how about the refunds to bogus filers in Shanghai? Yes, these refunds were based on identity theft, but wouldn't someone at the IRS question why 655 tax refunds went to a single address in Lithuania, while another 343 refunds went to one address in Shanghai? Thanks to the IRS training, we get poorer everyday.
