Harry Reid and Nepotism

Harry Reid likes to play fair when it comes to getting his way! Reid instigated the no debate in Senate rule. He is good at cutting off debate when it comes to legislation and people he likes.

So Reid likes his family. So he pressed the Department of Homeland Security to issue visas for certain shady characters associated with his son's dealings. Reid's son, Rory, represents a Las Vegas casino that had secured possible funding from Asian investors.

DHS had flagged the foreigners for “suspicious financial activity” and had initially denied visas for them. This denial normally does not allow for appeals. And then Harry Reid stepped in...
