Freshman Texas Senator Tackles Old Pro Feinstein

Newly elected U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) gave old-timer Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) a history lesson and chastised her using the death of children to pass a control bill. Cruz told Feinstein and the Senate "Real assault weapons — machine guns — are already functionally illegal, and they have been since 1934."

Kudos to our Texas Senator for getting Ms. Feinstein straight and for making a point regarding political actions. It appears that too many politicians jump on a tragedy to make points with the public.
