Shirley Temple...the Republican

When someone dies, people like to remember the good times they had with them. When an actress like Shirley Temple dies, most people remember her fondly for her cute movies that saved a movie studio. She will always be remembered as that movie star whose old movies come out now and then on TV.

Some people like to forget that Mrs. Temple-Black became a Republican and was a staunch supporter of limited government.  She also did volunteer work for the Republican Party. But, most of us will remember "Curly Top" and not the Republican volunteer worker.
