Michael Savage reacted to the death of North Korea's tyrannical Kim Jong Il, telling listeners:

The interesting part is that one of the world's most brutal dictators has died, yet according to the vermin in the media, he was just another "world leader". Some called him a "rascal". According to NPR, Kim Jong Il was a "mercurial man".

They didn't call him evil. They wouldn't call him a Stalinist dictator, because then you're liable to ask the question, "What is a Stalinist?" And then you'd find out that Stalinism means communism. And after that, you might wonder: "But isn't that like the Democrats? Don't they believe in state control of everything?

Take a look at South Korea next door. You see a booming economy producing cars and other things the world really wants. You see booming cities full of fat and happy people.

Then look back at the North, a country that has been under the yoke of a Stalinist mentality ever since it was created.

What you see is what you'd get with the Obama administration if it was allowed to go on steroids: a state-controlled nightmare.

Remember: The media never wants you to think this through, because if you do you're liable to come to the right conclusion –

Which to them would be the "wrong one."

Holder Should Play Old Maid and Not the Race Card

Eric Holder jumped on the race card band wagon...like his buddy and boss Barack "Berry" Obama. I'm tired of this racial baloney!

I'm Mexican-American and I think I'll play the race card every time I see a Taco Bell commercial and sue that company for imitation Mexican food! It's time to complain about salsa made in any state north of Oklahoma. I want Mexican-Americans to get credit for fighting at the Alamo just like Jim Bowie and company. Furthermore, I want reparations for all those Anglo actors like Marlon Brando and Spencer Tracey  who played Mexicans in all those old movies. And then I want Frito-Lay to apologize and give us money for using the Frito Bandito to make fun of Mexicans. And by the way, stop using the words "taco" and "tortilla" when describing Mexican food...we also eat burgers and fries.

Well folks so much for the ridiculous and the racial card. Eric Holder and company need to get a life and take responsibility for their actions. Don't blame race for you shortcomings. Man up, Obama Gang!

Berry Obama's Brain Dissected

The US Report has an interesting article regarding Barack (Berry) Obama and his Marxist leanings as a student. John Drew, a college mate at Occidental College, writes in this article about his experiences with Obama when both men were students at that school in the early 1980s.

Drew summaries his impressions of Obama by saying:

“The Obama I knew was nothing like the life-long, pragmatic centrist that he was pretending to be in the 2008 presidential campaign. When I talked politics with the young Obama, he expressed a profound commitment to bringing about a socialist economic system in the U.S. – completely divorced from the profit motive – which would occur, in his lifetime, through a potentially violent, Communist-style revolution. USPS...leaves your package

I guess with the Holiday Season you've experienced delivery service from all of the above. There are other delivery services, but these are the three that come by our home most often.

I get a little ticked when UPS knocks and runs. I get a bit upset when FedEx knocks and walks away. BUT...the USPS does one better...NO KNOCKS...just drop and run!! No wonder the USPS is in the RED and wants to raise postage or cut services.

The USPS would do better by hiring customer friendly carriers; their workers tend to be anti-social and have a "who gives a D_ _ _ attitude." I live in Texas and we are somewhat on the neighborly side. We like our privacy, but we do tend to easily greet people in the street...which surprises a lot of folks visiting from other states...like New York...with apologies to those New Yorkers who expect this of Texas hospitality!

I know that not all USPS employees are like the ones we've had lately. I know that some make noise to sort of warn you that a package is on your step, but for the most part they just slink away...or is it tip-toe away!

So...Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to the USPS...and I hope the New Year opens your eyes to something called...CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Eric Holder Has Friends in WI Recall

Eric Holder wants to strike out all voter ID in the cause of liberty. Well, Wisconsin voters Adolph Hitler and Mickey Mouse agree with Holder's power ploy. And so does the Government Accountability Board reviewing the petitions to recall WI. Governor Scott Walker.

The "board unanimously approved a plan that would allow questionable names to be counted if they are signed within the circulation dates and have a proper address..." Only in Berry Obama's America!

God, Christmas, and Our Country

I'd like to share this from Gadi Adelman.

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees, Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are, Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu . If people want a creche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from, that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God ? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Hurricane Katrina).. Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave, because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said okay.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit.

If not, then just discard it.... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

The Intelligence of a Reagan

During the first years of his presidency, many liberals outside his administration and for that matter some Republicans within his administration, thought that Ronald Reagan might not be intelligent enough for the office. They felt he couldn't stay focused on the many problems he faced with the economy in recession.

Reagan fought for and got a tax cut for us all during those first years. Many felt that because of the decrease in tax revenue, that country would not come out of the recession. Reagan wanted time to prove that his economic plans could work. He was focused on the "big picture" and not the small trappings of the presidency. Reagan "stayed the course."

Soon he proved all his critics wrong. Reaganomics worked. Tax rates went down, revenue went up, inflation went down, big government started to become smaller, and private sector jobs were created. The central idea behind Reagan's economic plans worked another miracle, the American people felt good about themselves once again!

The not so intelligent and not so focused President showed us all what can be done when everyone else thought it couldn't be done! Reagan, unlike the current administration, created jobs from the private sector through reduced taxation. Reagan, unlike the current administration, reduced government. Reagan, unlike the current administration, lifted the American spirit.

And soon we will be looking for another Ronald Reagan to take us out of the doldrums of a president worse than Jimmy Carter. I'm looking for a person who may not debate as well as others, a person who might be human and forget things, a person who is or was once a state governor like Reagan, a person committed to smaller government, and a person demanding less taxation while creating more jobs through lower taxes.

Personally...I'm looking for a Rick Perry...how about you...think about it!

More on HOAs and Bigotry

Well, folks, once upon a time I blogged about the dealings of a Home Owners Association (HOA) in Florida. The HOA had a problem with one homeowner displaying our American flag. It appears that flags aren't exclusive to the "do no display" rules HOAs enforce.

I Wish I'd Said That!

Peggy Noonan once asked President Ronald Reagan about how he looked at himself in history. This is his reply...short and sweet:

"I never thought of myself as a great man, just a man committed to great ideas. I’ve always believed that individuals should take priority over the state. History has taught me that this is what sets America apart — not to remake the world in our image, but to inspire people everywhere with a sense of their own boundless possibilities. There’s no question I am an idealist, which is another way of saying I am an American.”

If we only had a leader like this!

The Next Ronald Reagan

Over the last few months, Barack Obama has spoken about Americans in some very negative terms. He tries to overlook his mistakes by pointing fingers at us and making us the “scapegoat” for his errors and lack of true leadership. Here are two examples of his “it’s your fault” comments:

Obama alleged on Sept. 29, 2011:

“The way I think about it is, this is a great, great country that had gotten a little soft and we didn’t have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last couple of decades. We need to get back on track.” 

Obama remarked on Nov. 12, 2011: 

“But we’ve been a little bit lazy, I think, over the last couple of decades. We’ve kind of taken for granted — well, people will want to come here and we aren’t out there hungry, selling America and trying to attract new business into America.” 

Obama’s words are reminiscent of a speech made by Jimmy Carter. On the evening of July 15, 1979 Carter admonished our country by saying, "In a nation that was proud of hard work, strong families, close-knit communities and our faith in God, too many of us now tend to worship self-indulgence and consumption. Human identity is no longer defined by what one does but by what one owns." According to Carter, Americans no longer had the “can do” attitude! 

Ronald Reagan later responded to the remarks Carter made about our country’s lack of moral fiber. Reagan said: 

“People who talk about an age of limits are really talking about their own limitations, not America’s.” 

What Reagan said regarding Carter’s “malaise” speech can easily be used to describe Obama’s comments. Ronald Reagan lifted the American spirit; where Jimmy Carter blamed his situation to American malaise or feebleness. Barack Obama now blames his ills on the same America that Reagan once called “the shining city upon a hill.” 

It’s time for voters to find the next Ronald Reagan…that person who will bring our country out of the dark pit Obama has put us in. I feel that Rick Perry is that person. Others have their own choices, but the reality of it all is that we don’t want nor need a Barack Obama!

I've noticed here in Texas how home owners' associations (HOA) like to use Gestapo tactics in the name of keeping a "beautiful atmosphere" in these housing concentration camps. Now we have a Florida HOA and another case of "take down that awful flag...it ruins our views."

Yes, folks, this is the same flag that our fathers/mothers and grandfathers/grandmothers fought for in the Great Wars. The flag that many of us fought under in Vietnam. The flag that men and women in Iraq and Afganistan hold high. BUT...some liberal home owners' association in Florida (and some other states as well) declares that it ruins the atmosphere!

The Obama administration’s decision to postpone the Canadian XL pipeline has led some energy execs to conclude that Obama is at war with American energy production. GOP Rep. Ted Poe of Texas told Newsmax.TV that he indeed suspects this is happening.

Stock Tip...

If only we all had Congressional accounts...we could all be millionaires or at least thousandaires. Pelosi started the ball rolling and now the "little pixie" has more dough than Captain Hook...poor Peter Pan!

Who else has the knack for stock tips? Should we all be leery of our Congressional representatives? Maybe we should all put the "touch" on them for a loan...or like Obama, a "gift" just for being our representative in Congress?

We live in a republic, and that form of government allows us to vote in those folks in our area we feel will best represent us. Unfortunately we don't always get a real "Mr. Smith" who is looking out for our good. Too many times we get a "Mr. Politician" who's looking out for "Mr. Politician!" But, all said and done we have to trust our system and vote in the person who impresses us most and hopefully he or she will do good by our vote.

Rick Perry...Today's Ronald Reagan

It's funny and sad how many "elite" Liberals criticized Ronald Reagan for not being very smart. Reagan didn't go to Harvard or Yale like some of those Liberal thinkers.

Rick Perry went to Texas A&M. Here in Texas you hear a lot of "Aggie" jokes, but some really smart folks came out of A&M and we should be proud of that university...and Rick Perry!

GOP Voters - 52% Say "Run, Perry, Run...Don't Stop"

Rick Perry did OK this past week at the debate, but a couple of weeks ago all the world was on his case for his mental flub. I guess the whole world is SO smart that no one has ever had a lapse of memory...we wish!

Well...I also guess that GOP voters would run from him in droves. WRONG...Elephant Man...at least 52% of Republican voters want Rick to hang in there.

Wear a Communist to School...Not Our Flag

It is totally crazy...schools allow kids to wear T-shirts with the image of Che Guevara, a murdering Communist, but they won't let kids wear our flag on their shirts. I'll give you this...the California school in this article was doing a "Cinco de Mayo thing" and some students wore T-shirts with the U.S. flag on them.

Maybe this was not such a smart stunt (wearing our flag) on that occasion celebrating Mexico's "independence" day. BUT...California is not part of Mexico...so what is the big deal? We have become overly "politically correct" and have forgotten our heritage.

Our country is made up of immigrants who "assimilated" into a people of ONE country not a smorgasbord of many peoples and nationalities. We were assimilated or absorbed into an American way of life.

We can remember our heritage as individual nationalities, but we must always remember our American heritage. I thank my Mexican grandparents for seeking a better life here in Texas. And thanks to them for assimilating and learning English and becoming decent citizens.

My point...California school authorities need to remember this is the U.S.A. and if students want to remind their classmates that they do live in the U.S.A. by wearing a shirt with our flag on it no matter the occasion...all the power to them...and keep the courts out of this! Oh yes...free speech is another issue in this fiasco!
