Is a Fetus a Soulless Mass of Tissue and also Private Property?

Is a fetus considered human? Does life begin whenever a doctor says it begins? Does a woman have the authority to say when a fetus is a child? What are our attitudes regarding abortion and birth? Does our Constitution say when life begins?
