Sequester Boondoggles - Government Waste

With all the Barack Obama talk of how the sequestration will hurt our country, no one says much about the duplication in the federal government. While profitable businesses reduce duplication waste, our government lets it continue. Why save by cutting duplication...keep a federal worker employed!


Waste and Duplication:
  • Dozens of duplicative Homeland Security contracts
  • Six job training programs for veterans
  • Four federal agencies run 21 separate college aid programs
  • GAO found 31 areas in the government that overlap, duplicate efforts or are egregiously inefficient
