Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dempsey Disagrees with Obama??

According to the linked article at dailycaller.com, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey sort of disagreed with Barack Obama. Semantics may be the culprit. Like Bill Clinton...it depends what you mean by "...al-Qaida has been decimated."

 Dailycaller.com excerpt:

"During the 2012 presidential campaign and after, President Barack Obama and administration officials have repeatedly declared that al-Qaida has been decimated, or is at least on the path to defeat. At times, the president and administration officials have referred specifically to 'al-Qaida’s core' as having been decimated. Dempsey said he agreed with the
former interpretation."
