Cruz: No Welfare for Illegals...No Welfare Forever!

Newly elected Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz has been criticized by both sides of the aisle. The Republican senator has received flack from members in his own party for being too Conservative.

Keep in mind that Cruz's father left Cuba during that country's Communist revolution. Cruz is a second generation Hispanic.

He has an amendment to the immigration reform bill currently in the Senate that makes great sense. The amendment states its purpose as:  “...provide that aliens who have entered or remained present in the United States while not in lawful status shall not be eligible for means-tested benefits.”

The bottom-line NO WELFARE for illegals!
