This past November, the Democrats suffered an impressive defeat in the Congressional elections. In an effort to divert attention from this shellacking, Dianne Feinstein wants to put the CIA under the gun. The California Senator thinks the "extreme" interrogation measures used to get information from Muslim prisoners of war was just a bad thing...even if those measures led to the exposure of future terrorist plans.

Not everyone agrees with Feinstein. Among them are our former President George W. Bush and his Vice President Dick Cheney. They believed in the need for any measures used by our intelligence folks.

The use of extreme interrogation did avoid other 9/11 like attacks. We were pushing the envelope on a few Muslim monsters to keep America safe.

Who is more important...the 3,000 plus souls slaughtered in New York and Washington by Muslim terrorists or the Muslim terrorists? I'll sacrifice a few prisoners of war for the lives of many Americans!

According to a Thursday report by the Internet web site the World News Daily (WND), Barack Obama did NOT sign an executive order regarding illegal immigrants. But...Obama did set aside funds on this issue. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson took taxpayer funds in preparation for Obama's immigration scam. Since Obama has NOT signed the order, DHS is violating the law.

Crime happens to blacks as it does to whites, but Obama, Sharpton, and the press ONLY look at white killing black. WHY?

I am of Mexican heritage. I know that whites kill Mexicans and visa versa. So, should Hispanics protest and riot every time there's a killing that does NOT meet some preconceived race-ethic standard? If color is an issue...then wait for the Martians to land!

A few years ago the Democrats made fun of Sarah Palin for even hinting that under ObamaCare patients would face "death panels." Obama's Gang mocked this criticism. They said there were no such things as people being told they could not get medical treatment to extend their lives.

The NY Times reported that the federal government may reimburse Medicare doctors for end-of-life consultations. Would a doctor's counseling encourage ill patients to reject costly treatments to prolong life? Would doctors limit help to older patients based on Medicare paybacks? I hope the answer to both questions is a definitive NO! But, then again some doctors are more than willing to end life before it begins...ABORTIONS! Think about it...

Fox News’ White House reporter Ed Henry asked White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest about Barack Obama’s admission that he still has no strategy to combat ISIS. Henry wondered out loud why Obama is out there “still raising campaign money, playing golf, when he’s acknowledging that he still doesn’t have a strategy to deal with this?”

That's a fair question. Why is Obama ignoring a universal problem? Why is Obama wasting critical time while fund raising? How can Obama come up with any ISIS plan while playing golf? According to the General Accountability Office (GAO) the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provided $76 billion in benefits to about 46 million people  in fiscal year 2013. About $2.6 billion was eaten up with fraud.

 

Well, that's only a little over 3 percent of the total handed out, no big deal! But is, that is over two billion dollars of our money going to waste. Taxpayers should be treated better than that. This is NOT government money; it is our money!

We are all aware of the non-transparency of the Obama Administration. Barack Obama told us when he came into office that his administration would be like a clear window through which we could view his actions. There would be nothing to hide.

Somewhere along the way, the transparency became clouded. One after another the departments within his administration failed the transparency test. The Obama Gang slowly hid things from the voting public. The alphabet bureaucracy of the DOJ, IRS, VA, EPA, and others started to unravel and we started to see the corruption behind them. It wasn't pretty!

The federal government tries to oversee itself out now and then. So are created non-partisan Inspector General investigations. Unfortunately, these IG inspections hit some bumps in the road when trying to gather information.

In the case regarding the Obama Administration, the IGs have hit a mountain! The Obama Gang does not answer all questions about its operations. These well trained cronies come up with various excuses ranging from deleted emails to violating client-attorney privileges.

I found a very interesting article from the Investor's Business Daily (IBD) at Investors.com that gives us an idea of what makes Barack Obama tick. The article was written by Paul Sperry in 2010.

The article talks about Obama and his association with the teachings of Saul Alinsky a socialist agitator from Chicago. As a pupil of Alinsky's radical agenda, Obama uses Alinsky's text book as his own bible. Obama used it as a community organizer and he now falls on it to lead our country. Unfortunately, Alinsky taught all that is against what our country stands for and its very foundations.

U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said that Israel should share its missile defense technology. By not doing so, according to the U.N., Israel is guilty of war crimes against humanity.

We have a Congress bent on staying in power from one election cycle to the next. We have a Supreme Court that allows the innocent to be murdered in the womb. Hard times!

But...we have a people, the American citizens, who have a mind of their own and can decide what's best for them without being preached to by some pseudo government leaders. We read, we hear, we see what's happening to our nation. Some of us report on the web what we perceive as the ills our nation faces. We try to be the best patriot we can in our small corner of America during these hard times.

American is exceptional...we are a brand and breed that is special. We are not the French nor the British nor any other nationalism. And, Ronald Reagan thought we were a special type of world citizen.

Reagan spoke this regarding U.S. leadership in the world...

"Few Americans accept the belief of some of those now in positions of importance in guiding our foreign policy that America's purpose in the world is to appease the mighty out of a sense of fear or to appease the weak out of a sense of guilt."

He warned us about big government...

"No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. So, governments' programs, once launched, never disappear.
Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth."

He mocked feigned peace...

"Those who would trade our freedom for the soup kitchen of the welfare state have told us they have a Utopian solution of peace without victory. They call their policy "accommodation." And they say if we'll only avoid any direct confrontation with the enemy, he'll forget his evil ways and learn to love us."

He called despotic killers what they were...

"I'm coming before you tonight about the Korean airline massacre, the attack by the Soviet Union against 269 innocent men, women, and children aboard an unarmed Korean passenger plane. This crime against humanity must never be forgotten, here or throughout the world."

Reagan had so much more to tell us. Reagan practiced what he preached. Reagan made us proud to be American! I wish we had a Ronald Reagan, but until then we will continue to be exceptional in this crazy world!
