Words...American Socialism

A few years I was working as a contractor for the USAF. Thank God that's over! Well anyway, Barack Obama had just been elected president and some of the folks in the office felt so good inside about a black man being elected. Good for them I thought.

I really didn't care if the guy was black, brown, white, or green for that matter, I thought he was not good for our country. In my little mind, he was preaching a socialist world through his actions, ideas, and policies. I asked them who he was and no one could really answer. I told them he was leading our country in the wrong direction and into a socialist state...a European style socialism. But, in their opinion the guy could talk and he promised change. Yep, good old hope and change...I didn't trust Barack Obama!

As I think back and go over a few words from the book "Welcome to Obamaland" by James Delingpole, I realize that what Obama had spoken were socialism...American socialism. He used some nice sounding words like "fairness," "social justice," "equality," and "spreading the wealth." In my opinion...there go those alarms...socialism.

Throw in some other words like "environmental care" for the greenies, "affirmative action" for the far left Liberals, and "multiculturalism" for the U.S.A. detractors and there you have Barack Obama Supreme Leader. Words have meaning and meanings have a way of changing a nation. Our Founders knew this when they drafted our Constitution.

So think about it. What words fit a man? Listen to what words a man uses. Don't just hear the words. Listen and let them sink into your being. Obama has the knack for making words flow like sweet honey when in fact they are nothing more than poison for our system.
