Real Government Pork: Agricultural Subsidies

Farm subsidies were meant to help small farms. Not true these days! Here's a short list of who gets that help:

• Former President Jimmy Carter and his family
• U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack
• Mark F. Rockefeller received around $356,018
• David Rockefeller received about $591,057
• Riceland Foods, Inc.

These are not some small family farms. And now, Congress is set to vote on the renewal of the Farm Bill. Can we continue paying to subsidize these bogus "small farms?"
