Sequester Food and Wine Tasting

The USDA has two conferences scheduled in California and Oregon. At these conferences USDA employees are set to feature food and wine tasting.


At the same time, the Obama Administration said that the that cuts to USDA due to sequestration could result in furloughs for all employees at USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. These furloughs would be for approximately two weeks and would cause food safety concerns.
