Lies Obama Tells

SEQUESTER...there I've said it! And, that according to the Obama Boys and Girls is the beginning of the end. Drug enforcement, illegal aliens, and other maladies will sweep our country.

So, what is the truth about the "S" word? It could be a cut of 2% in the 3+ TRILLION dollar federal budget. And, how much is our government projected to cut?

The actual impact this year is not what officials claim. They say the cuts this year add up to $85 billion, but the Congressional Budget Office estimates actual spending will only fall by $44 billion this year. The $85 billion number is "budget authority." This what the government can set aside this year, but can really spend over several years. So the cuts this year are roughly half what officials claim.

Is Obama using this issue to scare people so he can grow the size of the federal government? The answer is "YES!"
