Texas Exposure: Wendy Davis Style

Did you excerpt from the linked article...

"In ancient Sparta, any newborn judged abnormal by the council of elders was exposed to the elements. The parents were required to desert the baby in the wild, where thirst, hunger, extreme temperatures or predators would kill the unacceptable infant. Today’s typical feminist, in the unlikely event that she were sufficiently literate in ancient history to know of this barbaric practice, would probably denounce it as an inevitable artifact of a militaristic, patriarchal society. And yet she would, along with most progressives, ferociously defend a remarkably similar modern barbarity — late-term abortion."

Many of you have heard of or seen the high profile filibuster in the Texas Senate. Democrat Wendy Davis stood for 13 hours in the middle of the Texas legislature trumpeting her opposition to a partial abortion ban. The measure would ban abortion after 20 weeks gestation. There would be no end to abortion, just a requisite time limit!

Does Davis have political aspirations? Does this single mother regret not aborting her child? Who knows what her intentions, other than what she said...women's rights! A right NOT found in the U.S. Constitution!!
