Chevy Volt Battery Needs a Charge

LG Chem, manufacturer of the Lithium-ion batteries for the Chevy Volt,
was on the squander list for letting its employees play cards and volunteer at local Michigan charities instead of producing batteries. Green jobs playing poker and being Mr. Nice Guy!

All that end. But now LG Chem says they will have to stop battery production because of a chemical that hasn't been  approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA has to approve the chemical before the company goes back to production...or playing poker!

The Holland, Michigan company has received over $150 million in federal funds (taxpayer money), and about $175 million in green-energy tax credits. Here is another case where Barack Obama's "green" policies and taxpayer giveaways just don't work. Unfortunately for taxpayers, these Big Government handouts won't stop until Obama gets thrown out!

Operations have been halted...the Volt needs a different charge! Read the full story at...Chevy Volt getting a Jolt!
