Funding Rich Public Schools

Some of our federal taxpayer money goes to government schools i.e. public schools. Not all public schools are created equal, but they may all get a piece of the pie.

On the average, homes in Westport, Connecticut sell for about $1.8 million. The Department of Education gave Westport a $1 million grant to buy kayaks, paddle boards, and roller blades. These items were part of the Westport Public Schools “wellness” program.
