Shutdown News - $445,000,000 to Corporation for Public Broadcasting

Just as the federal government cited cuts because of the shutdown, it gave $445,000,000 to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Obama gave taxpayer money to the PBS NewsHour, National Public Radio and Sesame Street.

This means that instead of funding the National Institutes of Health from starting clinical trials for cancer.  So, not funding research on cancer and would-be cancer patients at the NIH, Obama chose to fund his own little propaganda arm!
